David celebrated his 7th Birthday with friends at his Gymnastics Gym. We had 13 little boys and Kelsey and Kaitlyn. There was no shortage of energy! They took them through a warm up and then moved them to difference stations in the gym.
David was a monkey on the rope climb. He made it all the way to the top and hit the Easy button that said "That was easy!".
The favorite station was the pit jump. They all loved jumping into the foam pit.
We were all worried about Kaitlyn having fun at the party with her arm in a cast. She didn't let that stop her! She was able to jump into the pit with all her energy (that's A LOT of energy!)!
It's still difficult to believe that he's SEVEN years old!!!
We talked a lot about opening gifts and showing appreciation before the party. David was so sweet. He hugged his friends after he opened their gifts. He is such a sweet little guy! His friends were as excited as David for him to open the gifts.
After the party we came home and David opened gifts from his cousins. More Monster Legos! David was thrilled.
Our marathon birthday celebration continued with a trip to see Wreck-it Ralph at 7 p.m. that night. The show was sold out! We were happy that Paul picked up tickets during the afternoon. We got there 30 minutes early and found seats and gave each of the kids and ipad. They stayed entertained until the movie started and we handed out the candy.
