Mommy at School & Pizza and Pajamas

I volunteered at preschool this morning. David and I were both so excited to spend the morning together in his classroom. I was responsible for the play doh table (an activity I'm very familiar with).
Here's David and his friend Ryan painting hearts green and shaping them into shamrocks.

The playdoh table was very popular (I don't think I can take any credit for the fun, play doh by itself is so much fun for kids.).

The kids were so good during circle time on the carpet. It was amazing to see 13 4 year olds sitting still for nearly 30 minutes of stories and sharing time.

David was in charge of the calendar this morning. He stood up in front of everyone and showed the date and put it on the calendar.

Off to use the potty! That was the end of my visit. They went outside to play and then had a snack after I left. What a fun day.
We had a pizza and pajama playdate tonight. A few friends and their little ones come over. The kids ran around outside for a while, until all their noses were running, and then we went in the house and ordered pizza.
After pizza we put all the kids in their pajamas, turned a movie on and let them play until bedtime. Happy kids!

Too Many Photos from Great Wolf Lodge

We spent two nights at Great Wolf Lodge over spring break this week. So much fun! I can't wait to plan another trip there. The boys were all action in the waterpark all day. Their favorite part was the wave pool. Ryan could have spent all day hanging out in the waves.

They have story time for the kids at 8:00 p.m. everynight. It was a challenge to keep the boys awake to go both nights. The 1st night Ryan fell asleep while they were reading the story.
David loved the arcade. He has really improved his ski ball game. He was concentrating so hard to throw the ball.

Both boys were asleep by 8:30 both nights. Happy snores from the wolf pack in our room!

Starbucks Stop

After a very successful swim lesson Thursday morning (David actually dove into the pool hands first! He has been standing with his hands ready to go and then jumping in feet first.) we headed to Barnes and Noble for storytime and a Starbucks stop. The boys each get a cup of whipped cream and they split a chocolate chocolate chip cookie. Yum!

Ryan was covered in cookie and cream. He looks like he spent the morning in a mud pile. His hands were dark brown. He was very pleased with himself.
