David has his first swim meet tonight. He was a little nervous at the start. Lots of complaints about his stomach hurting. It's good that the little kids events come quickly. He swam the 25 yd freestyle first. He did great! And by great I mean that he made it to the other side of the pool without stopping or grabbing the ropes! David asked me if he can do this again next year while we were waiting for his 2nd race to come up. I think he had fun! :-) Tuesday, June 28, 2011

Museum of Natural History (Dinosaur Museum!)
We took a weekend trip to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. David enjoyed showing Kelsey and Kaitlyn all around the museum. He took hold of Kelsey's hand and led her around. It was really cute. We love this museum. Wednesday, June 8, 2011

Spring Soccer 2011
David played Spring U5 Soccer with Centre Soccer. His friend Zach was on his team and Zach's dad coached with Paul. It was a VERY cold and rainy spring! We had lots of rain cancellations, which are extremely unusual for the soccer program. Typically the kids play in the rain. The fields were just too soggy. The season ended with two sunny warm weeks and lots of happy kids. Friday, June 3, 2011

Ryan's Preschool Performance
Ryan's class held a performance for the parents on Wednesday. They sang about the seed growing into a flower. Ryan is still running around the house with his head in this flower. His teacher put together a video of pictures from the year too. It was very sweet. David got to leave his classroom to watch the performance.
