Just Ducky!

David and Ryan had their picture taken with live baby ducks this morning at Hourglass. David was so cute with the little ducks. He got to hold a baby bunny too. Ryan was his normal happy self. He smiles at everything.

Snow Fort

We built a snow fort in the backyard this weekend. David only liked being inside if Twix was in there with him. He figured out that she would run inside if he threw snowballs for her to catch. He giggled like crazy when she caught them in her mouth. Ryan stayed inside and took a nap while we played.

Little Thinker

Hmmmmmmmm . . . Ryan enjoyed some quiet time to think while he sat in his swing this afternoon. He was trying to decide if he wanted to risk laying on the floor while David ran around the house playing superhero. It can get a little dangerous for a 3 month old around here!

I'm Gonna Get You!

What a happy kid! David and Paul running through the house screaming and then jumping on the couch in a fit of giggles - both of them!

Grammy Jill

Grammy Jill came to visit this weekend so Paul and I could have a day to ourselves. Ryan was thrilled to have her all to himself while David took a nap. He gave her lots of smiles.
David saw her coming to the front door and asked "Dogs?" He remembered that she brought two puppies with her on her last visit. He loved playing with his new bears that she brought and his aquadoodle. He gave her a big loud kiss.

Mr. Fix It

David and Pappy Dave fixed the dishwasher this afternoon. They looked under it with a flashlight to try to figure out what was causing all the water to pour out.

David had fun watching Pappy Dave put the door back on the dishwasher. After Pappy Dave was done David jumped up and said "All Done" and ran over to the toolbox.
The toolbox was too heavy for David to lift, but he didn't have a problem opening and closing it. All Fixed!

Valentine's Day Party

David had a Valentine's Day Party this morning. 10 toddlers and 3 babies. They made Valentine's and enjoyed lots of snacks. David gave his girlfriends necklaces and bracelets. We could not believe we were able to get all of them on the couch!
David gave Lauren a ride in his Gator. They drove over some hills that were bumpy.

David, Nathan and Riley sat together for snacks.
Cara gave David a big hug before she left. Cara is David's sweetheart.

Trains and Toddlers

David and his friend Nathan played together this morning. They had fun at the train table and then they wanted to play kitchen. We made train cupcakes. They were so cute. The boys loved them.

Sweet Dreams

We're all feeling much better now after our crazy weekend.

Ryan is just starting to sleep in his crib. He still sleeps in the co-sleeper at night beside our bed. He's been taking naps in his crib during the day.

The Many Joys of Parenthood

Paul wanted to kill me for taking this picture. I told him he would eventually look back on this moment and laugh. I was the only one laughing though. This picture describes Friday night at our house. Two boys throwing up - 4 loads of laundry and no sleep!

Loud Enough?

David's volume control is broken! He loves anything that makes a lot of noise. One of his favorite things is his drum.

Test Subject

Ryan is in a study at Penn State researching how babies develop. They test his ability to reach for an object when he can see his hands and then they block his sight so he can't see his hands and test him again. He'll be tested once every 2 weeks for the next 4 months.

All Smiles

Ryan has been all smiles lately. He just started smiles this past week. He wakes up all smiles. He's also been doing really well holding up his head. David still adores him, but is starting to tell me "baby down" now when I'm holding Ryan.

Valentine's

David and his friend Riley made Valentine's this morning. We started with stickers, moved to finger paint and then finished with markers. They had fun running around the kitchen with their paint covered hands. Ryan sat in his swing and watched.
