David voted in his first presidential election on Monday night. Each student received a ballot with a photo of Obama and Romney. David cast his vote for Romney. Each student, in grades 1-3, who voted had their name put into a raffle to win a book, Duck for President. On Tuesday afternoon David came home with the book. He was beside himself with excitement! He said a 5th grader came into his classroom in the morning and asked to see him. He told me he felt a little nervous about what the student wanted, but then was so happy to find out he won! He was also happy that Romney won the election at his school!
