David could not get enough of Grammy Jill and Poppy Dave tonight! He had so much fun sitting on the couch with them and making sure that he got as much attention as Ryan. He showed Grammy Jill all his new moves - running around the house and screaming. He had fun figuring out what Poppy Dave had on his face - a beard! He stayed up late to play with them. Grammy Jill read David many stories and put him to bed. What a fun night!
David got to see Santa at the Videon Open House. He was so excited to see him. He looked down the stairs and saw him and got a huge smile and said "Santa, Ho Ho!" He took off down the stairs and then came to a quick stop. When his name was called he wanted nothing to do with Santa! Poor Santa. He loved his gift though - Salty the train. 
Ryan went on his first Videon outing tonight. He went to the Open House for an hour. We kept him in Paul's office for most of the hour under the watchful eye of Grammy Jill. We didn't want anyone touching him! Grammy Jill kept him safe and sound.
This has been a sleepless week at our house. Paul is back at work and David has decided to start waking up at 6 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. I think he's anxious to see the baby in the morning. Ryan has been staying awake most of the night and sleeping during the day. To combat David's new morning routine, I've come up with mid-morning movie snuggle time. David picks a movie, typically Pooh, and then we snuggle up with a blanket on the couch. He's usually asleep by the time his snacks are eaten and the first song is over and takes at least an hour long nap. ,
We had a pajama photo shoot tonight after the boys put on their matching pajamas. David loved that Ryan had on the same pjs. He also loved holding Ryan while he sat in the chair. He is so happy to have a little brother.
