Big Boy Legos

David has been refusing to take a nap lately, so we've been able to do some new "big boy" things while Ryan is napping. On Monday afternoon David and I built a house, car, helicopter and dog with his new big boy legos. We both had fun. (David's wearing his pajamas because I was trying to get him to take a nap and thought putting on his pajamas might help. . . . nope.)

Last Day of Spring Soccer

Today was the last day of David's spring soccer class. He's really had fun, but we're not sure that the fun is because of the soccer or because of his friends AJ and Zach being in the class.
The class usually starts out with David excited to try out dribbling and throwing the ball. . . but then he starts getting silly with his friends and it's all over. . .

Here all of three boys playing with the disc golf goal at the park instead of practicing their skills.

For the last night they tried to do a scrimmage. The kids weren't really ready for a scrimmage though so it turned into a game of keep the ball away from the instructor.

Ryan and Zach's little brother, Luke, were pretty content to sit in their strollers and watch most of the soccer class. Someday they'll get to take a class together.

Chuck E. Cheese

Friday was Kelsey's and Kaitlyn's last day of school. We all went out to Chuck E. Cheese that night to celebrate. The kids loved dancing with Chuck E. Cheese and then running around the game area. Ryan was so much fun. His little cheeks were red after only a few minutes. He really wore himself out running all over the game area. He was adorable.
Kelsey has been so sweet with Ryan. She really got a kick out of making him laugh while we were at Sesame Place and it's continued to be fun for her. She is such a sweetheart when she comes over and tickles him or sings a song to make him laugh. He loves her!

Delgrosso's Weekend

We got all the cousins together at Delgrossos last weekend. It was a bit chilly last weekend, but they didn't care. They had fun running from ride to ride in the kiddie section. This was the 1st year for Ryan to be able to ride the rides. He was a little scared on the cars at first, but then he loved it.

Ryan Loves doing the Chicken Dance with Elmo

Ryan is wearing his Elmo slippers and doing the chicken dance with Elmo. He's too funny.

Sesame Place

We spent Tuesday (rainy & cold) and Wednesday (sunny & warmer) at Sesame Place. The rain on Tuesday forced us back to the hotel early. I don't think the kids even realized the park closed. They were all excited to get back to the hotel, use the pool and play together.
Shelby brought lots of Playdoh and we set up a table for the kids in our room. They made birthday cakes for everyone and sang Happy Birthday.
On Wednesday the weather improved and we were able to spend the whole day at the park. David's favorite ride was the roller coaster. The park was pretty empty, so he was able to ride it over and over again! He didn't want to stop. This is a picture of David and Paul in the front row. (Now I'm wondering who is going to ride these rides with Ryan someday?)
