Movie Night Preview

We visited Paul work tonight to see how the construction on the new building is coming along. David's favorite part of the new building is the theatre room. All three boys tested out the chairs tonight. David would have been content to spend the night.

Pretending to be Apples

We visited the local fruit farm this afternoon for a tour with our Mothers & More mommy group. We started out the tour by checking out the pumpkins. Ryan enjoyed climbing the pumpkins and David ran around trying to pick up them all up. (He was pretending to be the incredible hulk while picking them up.) We rode in a wagon behind a tractor to get a close up look at the apples in the trees. We were all pretending to be apples and learning the steps that go into growing them, picking them and then making cider and applesauce. David was very attentive. Ryan was trying to climb out.
After the tour David was allowed to fill his bag up with apples and get some apple cider. I had to fill his cup up with the cider as soon as we got to the car. He loves it.

Musical Ryan

Ryan LOVES music class. We've been going for 3 weeks now. Ryan is so excited when the teacher brings out her guitar. He claps his hands with the other kids and loves to play the triangle. Today his was crawling all over the drum during playtime.

Meatballs

We've found a meal that both boys love - spaghetti and meatballs! David and Ryan both ate 2 meatballs for dinner along with their spaghetti tonight.

Apple Season

The fruit farm by our house has started selling apples. We bought a peck of McIntosh, Gala and Cortland and started eating them as soon as we got home on Friday. Both boys love apples as much as I do.
The apples gave David something more suitable to do with his hammer besides hitting his brother over the head! He smashed up the graham crackers for the apple crisp.

Boys Behaving Badly

We've had a fun week. I found Ryan in the livingroom crying on Wednesday afternoon - really crying. He cried so hard that he ended up passing out! I called 911 and was hysterical. He started crying while I was on the phone with the operator and she assured me that crying meant that he was breathing! I hung up and David told me that he hit the baby on the head with his hammer! (his plastic hammer) Good Grief! Well, 6 paramedics and 2 township police officers came to the house to make sure Ryan was okay. The ambulance driver told me he has 2 boys, 16 and 18, and that I should get ready for even more fun as these two grow up!

Cousin Sarah's Wedding Day

We celebrated my cousin Sarah's wedding this past weekend. The wedding was a Disney Theme to lead up to a family honeymoon to Disney World! Sarah and Greg had a big wedding party. They included everyone in the wedding. All of Sarah's brothers and sisters and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws were part of the ceremony. It was truly a family affair!
David and Ryan enjoyed watching the photographer from the pews with Kelsey and Kaitlyn.
Everyone had a blast at the reception. Ryan is really getting into wrestling with David and Kelsey.
